Miamitech.works
MiamiTech.Works, an initiative by the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, is a digital platform designed to connect individuals impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with job opportunities and skill-building resources in the technology sector.
As a graphic designer on the project, I led the development of the platform’s visual identity and overall look and feel, collaborating closely with the web development team to ensure a seamless translation from design to implementation. In addition, I created a suite of social media assets to support the platform’s launch and ongoing marketing campaign.
The visual identity was designed to feel modern, accessible and technology driven. The logo draws inspiration from computer motherboard circuitry, using clean line work to subtly reference connectivity and innovation. By integrating the “M” (Miami) and “W” (Works) through a central tech-inspired element, the mark reinforces the platform’s core mission: connecting the local community to new opportunities through technology.
