Miamitech.works
MiamiTech.Works, a Miami-Dade Beacon Council initiative, is an online web portal to connect people who lost their job due to the COVID-19 pandemic with job and skill-development opportunities in the technology industry. My role in this project as graphic designer of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council was to develop the design, look and feel for the website and to work with the development team involved to bring it to life. I also created a series of social media content to promote the brand and for some its marketing.
My concept behind the logo was to create a light and modern look while connecting to the tech aspect of the project by using a motherboard found in computers as inspiration for the line work. The "M" for Miami and "W" for Works are connected by a Tech element putting the emphasis on connecting the people of Miami to work through tech.
